A mixed pine and hardwood forest covers the site, providing summer shade and fall color. Elevation is 235' above sea level. Wildlife is abundant around the lake. Visitors regularly see southern bald eagles, osprey, migratory waterfowl, wild turkeys and whitetail deer. |
